Jr Youth Programs content

The Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program is designed for young people aged 11 to 14—a time of big changes, growing independence, and deep questions about life and the world. In small groups led by trained mentors, junior youth build friendships, explore moral and spiritual concepts, and develop practical skills to serve their communities.

The program blends study, discussion, creative expression, and service projects. The books used are engaging stories that inspire reflection and action. For example:

  • “Breezes of Confirmation” – A story about friendship, courage, and making positive choices in the face of challenges.
  • “Glimmerings of Hope” – Follows a young refugee navigating hardship while holding onto hope and working for peace.
  • “The Human Temple” – Encourages youth to see their own character as something they can shape and strengthen.

Through these materials—and through art, drama, and community service—junior youth develop the confidence, compassion, and skills to make a positive difference in their own lives and in the world around them.

If you know a young person who might enjoy joining a group, we’d love to welcome them!
